Logan Enviromental Action Force

L.E.A.F. CHARTER

The purpose and objectives of L.E.A.F. are to raise awareness
of enviromental issues, promote recycling, and expose students to
the possiblities offered by the great outdoors.

There are no membership requirements for L.E.A.F., but it is
expected that L.E.A.F. members will make an effort to show up for
L.E.A.F activities. Our recruitment plan is chiefly based on word
of mouth, but may include fliers, posters, announcments, or other
forms of mass media.

L.E.A.F. is headed by two chairs who are in charge of running
the meetings. The chairs are assisted and advised by three excoms
who see that L.E.A.F.'s plans are carried out. The process for
electing leadership is democratic, and the member must be willing
to assume the leadership position.

L.E.A.F. is a monitored student activity. Mr. Greene is the
monitor. L.E.A.F. meets every Thursday. L.E.A.F. gets its funding
by selling T-shirts and through an ink cartridge recycling program.
The money is primarily spent on the garden and the building near it.
