Here are some techniques to help you in writing your survey:
1. Choose a topic to base the survey questions on. 2. Decide how large a sample group you will want to have answer your questions. 3. Questions types fall into 3 types: multiple choice, numeric open end and text open end. 4. Use multiple choice when asking rating questions: present agree-disagree, positive-negative, yes-no & excellent-poor choices in those orders. Do not letter or number your multiple choice answers. 5. When using a numeric scale for the answers, higher numbers should mean a more positive or agreeing answer. 6. Test your questions using a few test subjects to determine if they work and will produce useful result. Edit the questions if needed. 7. Conduct the actual survey by handing out your questionnaire to the randomly selected sample group. 8. Compile and analyze the answers. 9. Write your conclusion. You can include graphs and charts.
